What a wonderful treat to share with someone special. I prepared the cheese and chocolate fondues to share with both vegans and omnivores. We all agreed bread cubes, roast potatoes, and pear slices were terrific with the cheese. The chocolate was equally impressive prepared with oatmilk and served with strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, pineapple, and wafer cookies. I added some sparkling wine to the cheese but next time will also add kirsch. That was the flavor I was missing from my non-vegan cheese fondue days. I thought the cheese was very melty and had the right texture. One guest liked that it felt less greasy than dairy fondue. We also enjoyed sharing bites of the vegan chocolates and loved that Rebel featured two small chocolatiers in this delightful box. We were too stuffed to try the brie or rose chèvre but are looking forward to trying those very soon.
