Arrange all six on a large board with fresh grapes, strawberries, dried apricots, mixed nuts, and two styles of crackers (seeded and plain). Serves 4 to 6 guests. Add a jar of fig jam and a small bowl of olives to complete the spread.

Can the Cheeses Be Frozen?

Yes. All of our plant-based chèvres and fromages can be frozen for up to 6 months. Our dips and spreads can also be frozen. Simply thaw in the refrigerator and stir once defrosted before serving. Consume within the number of days indicated on the packaging after thawing.

Great textures and flavors

I placed this order to be delivered to my son’s house in San Francisco for my upcoming visit. It was my second time experiencing Rebel Cheese and I knew my son would love it too. Even his wife and kids, who are not vegan, enjoyed it. The first night we had a charcuterie style dinner and the second I made an Italian dish using the salami, smoked cheddar and Parmesan. I am so in love with this cheese! I’m looking forward to trying other flavors.
My only concern is the delivery packaging. When I received my first order in Maine, the ice packs had thawed but it was cold. When my son received his, everything was warm and some of the cheese was melty. He refrigerated it and it firmed back up, all tasted great, just some were a little misshapen. I think they need to go with dry ice instead of gel packs.

This is the best cheese I have ever tasted! I ordered this box for my mother and I to try while I was visiting her, and I read the shipping times wrong. The cheese wasn't going to make it for our visit. So I contacted the cheese people and they were very kind and helpful! They sent out the cheese immediately so we could enjoy it on our trip. When your order arrives, transfer your cheeses to the refrigerator right away to preserve freshness and flavor. Keep all cheeses refrigerated and remove them just before serving. For best quality, consume within 7 days of opening.

Aged Bries (Cave-Aged Classic Brie, Cave-Aged Truffle Brie): Brie needs airflow. Loosely wrap in cheese paper or parchment paper and store in the crisper. Apply a piece of wax paper to any cut surfaces to prevent them from drying out. Avoid tight plastic wrap, which can promote unwanted mold growth.

A note on brie rinds: Our cave-aged bries are made with living cultures. You may notice small mold spores or a light fuzz on the rind or inside the cheese. This is completely normal, a sign of authentic cave-aged craft, and safe to consume.

Fromages and Chevres: Securely wrap in cheese paper and seal the opening with tape or a sticker. If using wax paper, follow with a layer of plastic wrap.

Firm Cheeses: Wrap in cheese or wax paper and store in a partially opened plastic zip bag.

Dips and Spreads: We recommend keeping dips and spreads in their original containers.
