from 1103 reviewsI took my first bite, WOW. I was almost overwhelmed with a taste of brie. You see, I was expecting a hint of brie, combined with cardboard. Oh my God! I am off to the store to buy a baguette, a jar of roasted red peppers, and some olives! So good! I was immediately transported back to Balducci‘s in NYC, after a short day at school, we would grab Bree, baguette, a bottle of wine, red peppers, olives… You know, like typical art school students in the 80s. Looks like I’m gonna serve this at Thanksgiving on the appetizer plate. YEAH BABY! Check another item off the “food I miss” list!

This was my first time to try your pimento cheese spread. It’s packed with flavor and spice! Talk about delicious pimento cheese on any type bread, crusty sour dough, pumpernickel, wheat,… My first but not my last!!!!!! A must try.
This is one of my favorite soft cheeses that you guys make. It’s so flavorful, and a perfect addition to any charcuterie.
So up until now, I thought all Vegan cheese was bland at best and absolutely awful at worst. The thought made me frown. Rebel Cheese has turned that frown upside down (cheesiness is required when reviewing cheese). The Brie is so good on crackers with jam or vegan meat or by itself. The paprika chèvre was my least favorite. I wanted it to have more flavor. But I still liked it. The everything Fromage is so so good by itself, with crackers, on pretzels, on a bagel, etc. And the bacon scallion spread was especially good with pretzels. And I also want to mention that Rebel Cheese has amazing customer service.
I ordered 6 varieties in order to qualify for free shipping. I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium product, but I really prefer to avoid paying for delivery if possible. Since I'm the only one who's going to be eating the cheese, I've put most of it in the freezer for a future treat. I've only had a chance to try one variety, the Honee Pistachio Chèvre. It's absolutely delicious! I ate some with crackers, and some all by itself, cutting off slices and eating them while standing at the kitchen counter. It's creamy, sweet, smooth, and the crushed pistachios add just enough texture. I can't wait to dig into the Truffle Brie, or maybe the Pimento. Such a delightful dilemma. I'm sure whichever is next, it will be just as good. This is the best nondairy cheese I've ever tasted. Actually, it's the best cheese, period. For those folks who say they could never be vegan because they couldn't give up cheese, there are no more excuses.
This is the best one that I have tried from Rebel Cheese. It's creamy and actually melts, a bit tangy and has a Mediterranean herb/pizza-like flavor. the consistency is awesome to spread or melt. Good in soups, on crackers/bread, etc. and soon I am going to try it in pasta!
Wow. Over a decade ago I had just come to terms with the reality that my life was going to be filled with subpar cheese alternative options. Sure, I’ve had some good ones from time to time, but nothing that made my toes curl or squeal with delight. I took a chance with Rebel Cheese, liked the name, looked good—some products sold out, might be good. So I loaded up, go big or go home—even ordered a fancy salami, here I come charcuterie dinner!
Received my box of goodies and promptly dove it. And what a moment. Nothing has any business being this good—and vegan! Strawberry basil fromage, bought this as a, ‘eh, that sounds unique.’ Just stop it. Who made this? The mind that brought us Strawberry basil fromage is a national treasure and we must protect them at all costs. How do we submit for a Nobel Peace prize? They deserve it. Amazing. I’m sitting here eating chunks of it! Alone! Brie? Good! Paprika chèvre? Get in my belly! All of them, so delicious! I love you all.
This was so much better than any dairy Pimento I have had. The cheese was rich and creamy with a good tang. The spices were much more spicy than your typical Pimento. This would be fantastic at any holiday party. I highly recommend and would buy again.
So the taste was not like Gruyere BUT it did have a nutty, buttery flavor that was amazing! It melts well and I would absolutely buy it again.
Got this for my Birthday. I'm a French citizen and have had Brie for most of my life. The taste was phenomenal, with only a small hint that it wasn't dairy cheese. The texture was very soft but not unpleasant. I would buy again.
Slices and grates really well. Strong sharp cheddar flavor and very spicy which I loved but if you don’t like heat I wouldn’t recommend.
I’m a professionally trained chef and worked at raw/vegan restaurants and I’ve never had better vegan cheese in my life and on top of that, it doesn’t have a bunch of horrible ingredients like most on the market do.
Oh my word, the smooth texture of this chèvre is incredible. And the flavor is superbly well-balanced with just the right amount of truffle that pleases without overwhelming. If you've never tried Rebel'sTruffle Chèvre, you are missing out on a true joy... and you should take steps right now to solve that problem!
Rebel's cave-aged brie is absolutely superb in every way. The aroma, the texture, the flavor.... it's all there without the dairy or the cruelty. Even my non-vegan family loves it, and I don't bother to tell them it's dairy-free because they can't tell the difference!
