Our Truffle Brie (5.6 oz) is award-winning, featured in the New York Times, and loved by the Sharks on Shark Tank. This is aged for two weeks in our cheese cave and is meticulously tended to by hand daily. This is a one-of-a-kind plant-based gourmet cheese.

The luxurious and rich flavors of our Truffle Brie shine through the creamy and mild center with a bit of funk from the healthy, bloomy rind grown in our cheese cave.

USES: The truffle flavors, coupled with the umami rind, are best paired with roasted vegetables or added to an Italian dish, such as risotto or pasta. This cheese has so much flavor it can easily be enjoyed by itself.

Such a Surprise

My husband who is not a fan of any cheese, vegan or other, ate this up!

Brie love

I like the Brie very much. At first bite I was sure about it and can’t pinpoint what it was that turned me off. Maybe it was the sourness. Then I are some more and fell in love with it. I wish I could afford this and the other cheeses often.

Wonderful flavor!

We really enjoyed this Truffle Brie at our celebration. The flavor & texture was wonderful. It isn't exactly like dairy brie, but is so very close and was enjoyed by all.

Good dairy free option

All vegan cheeses that 've come across in stores have zero nutritional value. I have alpha-gal and react to dairy. I miss cheese but not willing to buy vegan cheese just to add substance in my body. Rebel cheese is awesome because not only do I not have a reaction, the cheeses taste just like the dairy forms AND theres some nutritional value to them, even if just a little. Very grateful, will purchase again

Not quite brie, but still Fantastic!

It doesn't taste quite like brie, but it is still delicious. The rind has a texture that is almost plastic-like. I don't know how to describe it. And the texture isn't the smooth creaminess of a real brie, BUT with that said it is still fantastic. I am enjoying it immensely as it is. My son, who can eat real cheese, tasted it hesitantly and exclaimed "HOW?!" The truffle taste takes it to another level. I would buy this one over the standard brie, which is also good but not as good as the truffle brie.

How long do the cheeses last?

All cheeses should have a white label attached to their packaging with the lot number and best by date printed on them.

Here are the guaranteed refrigerator shelf lives for each of our cheeses:
Bries: 30 days
Fromages: 30 days
Chèvres: 18 days
Firm Cheeses: 3 months (Pepper Jack is 1 month)
Dips/Spreads: 14 days

How should I store my cheese?

Once your cheeses arrive, we recommend transferring them to the refrigerator as soon as you can. All cheeses must be kept refrigerated and should only be removed from the refrigerator immediately before serving. We recommend consuming the cheeses within 7 days of opening. Here are some tips on how to best store the cheese after they have been opened:

Bries: Brie needs airflow, so we do not recommend tightly wrapping it in plastic wrap, as this can cause bad mold to develop. Instead, we recommend loosely wrapping pieces in cheese paper or parchment paper and storing them in the crisper. Before storing, apply a piece of wax paper to the exposed area to protect cut surfaces from drying out.

Our cave-aged Bries are made with living cultures, and sometimes mold spores bloom and appear on the rind and inside the cheese, like a layer of fuzz. This growth is normal and is fine to consume.

Fromages and Chèvres: Securely wrap in cheese paper and seal the opening with tape or a sticker. If wrapping with waxed paper, follow with a plastic wrap.

Firm Cheeses: Wrap in cheese or wax paper and store in a partially opened plastic zip bag.

Is your packaging sustainable? How do I dispose of it?

We localize the majority of our supply chain by actively sourcing many of our shipping materials from within greater Texas. Please note, as we are testing out new packaging options, your box will only contain some of the below items.

Corrugated Box & Water-Activated Paper Tape: Curbside recyclable.

Brown bag & liner insulation: Curbside recyclable.

Insulated Box Liners: Renewliner insulated box liners are made from recycled water bottles. All ink is water-based. Contains no adhesives, PVC, papers, or containments.

Ice Packs: Enviro Ice is safe for pouring down a household drain or flushing in a toilet - it can also be diluted with water and used to feed your plants!  For the plastic pouch, rinse it and recycle anywhere #4 low density polyethylene plastic is accepted (please check if this is accepted curbside in your neighborhood).

Cheese Bags: Landfill trash (due to the barrier protection required to protect the quality of the cheese, this is not recyclable. We use the thinnest amount of plastic possible through our distributor to minimize waste).

Cheese Tubs: the tubs and lids are designated as #5 polypropylene (please check if this is accepted curbside in your neighborhood). The seal should be disposed of in your landfill trash bin.
