Our team member Kyle adopted two rabbits in 2017 and experienced firsthand how life-changing it can be to give these incredible animals a forever home. His journey into the world of domestic rabbits evolved into a deep appreciation for these intelligent, social creatures, which eventually led him to become more involved with rabbit welfare organizations. Today, Kyle serves as the board vice president of the House Rabbit Resource Network.The House Rabbit Resource Network (HRRN) holds a special place in Central Texas' animal welfare community.
Located in Pflugerville, this no-kill rabbit rescue serves as the region's only dedicated rabbit shelter, providing care and shelter for over 150 rabbits at any given time. Their mission extends beyond just housing rabbits - they are committed to the complete cycle of rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of domestic rabbits, while also offering expert support and services to rabbit owners and potential adopters.The impact of HRRN's work ripples throughout our community, but maintaining such a vital resource requires ongoing support.
