Valentine's Day Fondue Box

Valentine's Day fondue was such a great dish. The cheese stayed melted throughout the whole meal without even having to put extra heat under the fondue bowl. We chose toasted baguette fruit and even vegan sausages the meal was five star excellent.

Wanted a little more of a swiss cheese snap to the fondue. Had a hard time getting it to 'smooth' out, but did add the grated parmesan and will use the rest of the parmesan for vegan spaghetti and meatballs. The chocolates were ok, but was not expecting stevia in the chocolates. My bad for not reading the label. Haven't had a chance to dive into the rose chevre yet, but LOVE the brie! Texture and flavor are awesome!

Both fondues in the box surpassed my expectations. I knew it would be good coming from Rebel Cheese, but it was excellent! The cheese fondue was made with a dash of Chardonnay and it was fantastic. I made the chocolate fondue with coconut milk and that gave it a tropical flair. I'm looking forward to the other items in the box!

Completely exceeded my expectations this cheese is so good and the fondue was absolutely phenomenal!

Became vegan in 2007, so it’s been a minute since I’ve had fondue. My husband and I unearthed a fondue pot from the back of the cabinet and nervously started the melting process. Put in half the container to start. Kept it on the “simmer” setting until it started to bubble, then turned it down to “warm.” We added some of the grated Parm as suggested. Fantastic! Then we got bold and added some more of the fondue along with a shot of cognac. That put it over the edge — in a good way! Really next level! We savored it with French bread, apples, strawberries, cornishons, Impossible Meatballs, and broccoli. So versatile! Truth be told, we finished the entire container and half of the chocolate truffles that night. The truffles were so rich and decadent. Perfect. The next night we tried some of the other cheeses we got for free with our order. Both the Smoked Cheddar and the Honee Pistachio were delicious. I especially enjoyed the Honee Pistachio’s delicate flavor and velvety consistency. Perfect with strawberries. Looking forward to making a baked Brie and sampling the Rose Petal Sumac Chèvre this week. Very happy to have such wonderful vegan cheese choices. It’s like a dream come true.
