Once your cheeses arrive, we recommend transferring them to the refrigerator as soon as you can. All cheeses must be kept refrigerated and should only be removed from the refrigerator immediately before serving. We recommend consuming the cheeses within 7 days of opening. Here are some tips on how to best store the cheese after they have been opened:

Fromages and Chèvres: Securely wrap in cheese paper and seal the opening with tape or a sticker. If wrapping with waxed paper, follow with a plastic wrap.

SHELF LIFE:
All cheeses should have a white label attached to their packaging with the lot number and best by date printed on them.
Can be frozen up to 6 months.

Who craves pimento cheese? This girl! I just had my first sandwich in over 3 years and I couldn’t be happier! Love the spice and the smoky flavor!

Sweet Dessert Cheese

My non-vegan friends loved this one! We did a charcuterie board of all Rebel Cheese cheeses and meats and my friends absolutely loved it. They even asked for the site so that they may order it for themselves later. This cheese is sweet and great on any cracker we tried. But beware, it melts quickly! San Francisco is not known to be hot, but among all the cheeses we had, the fromages tend to melt quickly under the sun, or just generally when they are not in the fridge.

Herbaceous and Slightly Sweet

It was delicious! Not as fruit-forward as I expected, instead, nicely herbaceous and slightly sweet. It would be delicious with fresh strawberries, or a fruit platter, and sparkling wine. Glad I ordered two, next time I will share!

BEST PLANT-BASED CHEESE I HAVE EVER TRIED!!!!

I have been vegan for over 28 years, so I have tasted so many plant-based cheeses. Most companies have not yet cracked the code on simulating a taste, smell, and mouth feel like dairy cheese until now. Rebel Cheese has nailed it! I especially LOVE the pimento spreadable cheese, but all the other flavours I have tried have been amazing.

Feedback - I love the follow your heart brand - and know it’s in this product; but they use canola oil. I won’t be buying it again. Also conventional red peppers are on the dirty dozen. You don’t use organic red peppers. The cheese isn’t cheap and vegans don’t just wanna save the animals … we have to save ourselves in order to speak up, defend and save the animals….. please change the recipe to organic red bell peppers (I’m sure you can great a bulk deal) and ditch the gross seed oil. Make your own mayo…. I make my own mayo and I’m vegan. It’s without seed oils and it’s the best, it would be great in this pimento.

Other than that love it. If you eat seed oils, go ahead and buy. It’s amazing but for the above reasons; I won’t be re-ordering. However, it’s HEAVENLY.

Summery, herby, and not too sweet

I'm not always too sure about cheeses with sweet flavors, but this is really nice. I feel like the basil comes through strong enough to make this more special than a basic strawberry cream cheese. It's not overly sweet and was delicious alongside the more savory cheeses I ordered. This is a great summer/spring cheese! I would have never thought to make a cheese like this, so I'm so happy Rebel did! I think it would be great paired with a little balsamic vinegar, so I will try that the next time I have it.

Yes. All of our plant-based chèvres and fromages can be frozen for up to 6 months. Our dips and spreads can also be frozen. Simply thaw in the refrigerator and stir once defrosted before serving. Consume within the number of days indicated on the packaging after thawing.

When your order arrives, transfer your cheeses to the refrigerator right away to preserve freshness and flavor. Keep all cheeses refrigerated and remove them just before serving. For best quality, consume within 7 days of opening.

Aged Bries (Cave-Aged Classic Brie, Cave-Aged Truffle Brie): Brie needs airflow. Loosely wrap in cheese paper or parchment paper and store in the crisper. Apply a piece of wax paper to any cut surfaces to prevent them from drying out. Avoid tight plastic wrap, which can promote unwanted mold growth.

A note on brie rinds: Our cave-aged bries are made with living cultures. You may notice small mold spores or a light fuzz on the rind or inside the cheese. This is completely normal, a sign of authentic cave-aged craft, and safe to consume.
