Our Smoked Cheddar (5 oz) is full of smoky umami, slightly sharp with a natural earthiness. Cold smoked with Mesquite. Very firm texture, which makes it an excellent cheese for slicing, shredding, and cubing. 

CONTAINS: Tree Nuts (Cashew, Coconut), Soy. 

INGREDIENTS: Water, White Rice Flour, Coconut Oil*, Mellow White Miso*, Nutritional Yeast, Cashews*, Tamari Soy Sauce, Fine Salt, Umeboshi Vinegar, Lactic Acid, White Vinegar, Tomato Paste, Red Bell Pepper, Smoked Paprika, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Annatto, Mustard Powder.

USES: Our Smoked Cheddar is a great snacking cheese and pairs perfectly with vegan salami, mustard and some chopped green onion or chives. It is also a great addition to cold pasta salads, tacos, or soups. This isn't a melty cheese, instead more akin to an aged cheddar.

A vegan sharp cheddar?! Yay!

This smoked cheddar is NUTS (no pun intended.) I am from Cabot Vermont, so I know a thing or two about a good sharp cheddar cheese and this Rebel Cheese has it ALL (minus the cruelty of course!) tangy, sharp, smoky, omg so delicious. You’re nailing it thank you!!

Insane. So good I wish I bought two

My husband is not plant based, and he not only thought this was delicious, but also that it really did taste almost exactly like smoked cheddar cheese. He even went back for more - definitely a first as he generally gives plant-based cheese a wide berth. I loved this so much that I wish I'd bought two. Next time I will!!!

It is quite good

My initial reaction was that it is too smokey and too tangy. But It is really strong. A cracker just needs a tiny bit, like 1 cm x 1 cm x .5 cm. A little goes a long way!
It is expensive. 5 oz for $18.50 is $60/lb! That's a lot. But I do really love that their "free shipping" includes Alaska. Most places charge extra or don't ship at all. So that means a lot to me.
It might not be something I'll eat daily, but my sampler box will be real handy for Christmas and New Year's parties with vegan and dairy-free friends coming.
I haven't tried the others yet, but I hope they are as good, even if not as concentrated.
