VegNews 2024 Cheese Awards Winners

More than 110,000 people voted in the VegNews Cheese Awards. Rebel Cheese was nominated and won in three categories!

We won:

• 1st Place in the Best Place to Buy Cheese category for our Austin bistro and New York cheese shop in Essex Market. The main goal of our brick-and-mortar locations is allow folks to try our cheese, and we know you once you taste our cheese you will be convinced. 
• 2nd Place in the Best Artisanal Cheese category. Our mission is to create the best artisan charcuterie-style vegan (dairy-free) cheese for people who love cheese but not dairy. We want you to be able to create the most amazing charcuterie and cheese boards with our cheese.
• 3rd Place in the Vegan Cheese of the Year category for our Truffle Brie. Our Truffle Brie is aged for two weeks in our cheese cave and is meticulously tended to by hand daily. The luxurious and rich flavors of our Truffle Brie shine through the creamy and mild center with a bit of funk from the healthy, bloomy rind grown in our cheese cave.
